However, what caught her attention was a vehicle directly ahead.

Despite the lane being reserved strictly for motorcycles, the rider saw a blue hatchback.

The Singapore-registered car appeared to be moving along with other motorcycles, leaving the rider confused.

“Express lane?” the Original Poster (OP) joked in her caption.

Incident occurred in early hours of morning

“I did not see authorities spot the car, but I informed an officer when I arrived at customs,” she said.

When asked whether she had encountered similar situations, Laila shared that she had not personally witnessed one before.

However, she noted that she has come across similar incidents online.

Netizens give benefit of doubt to driver

The video garnered many comments online, with netizens largely giving the driver the benefit of the doubt, suggesting that they may have entered the wrong lane by mistake.

Some questioned why others were allegedly honking, noting that the driver had no opportunity to change lanes.

Others suggested that it may have been the driver’s first time entering the checkpoint.

One netizen suggested that the driver may have assumed it was a shared lane.

Laila responded that this would imply the driver was already familiar with the lanes and should not have made the mistake, given the presence of clear signage.
