Woman stuck in toilet thanks hotel staff after they break lock to free her
A woman had an unexpectedly memorable visit to the Fullerton Hotel after getting stuck inside a toilet due to a malfunctioning lock.
Thankfully, the hotel staff’s swift response turned the incident into a surprisingly amusing experience instead.
Woman trapped in hotel toilet, turns ordeal into a joke
TikTok user @valenciaaatan shared her experience in a video on 4 May, joking that getting trapped in a toilet was not on her 2026 bucket list.
The clip began with the Original Poster (OP) sharing that she got unexpectedly stuck inside the Fullerton Hotel’s toilet.

In the video, hotel staff could be heard reassuring her that help was on the way and telling her not to worry.
At the five-minute mark, she assessed the toilet space and joked about spending the night inside the cubicle.

The OP then proceeded to feed her “Tamagotchi”, quipping that at least she was “not alone”.
Hotel staff break lock to rescue woman
After about 10 minutes, a member of the hotel’s engineering department arrived to assist.
The OP shared a candid moment where some people outside the toilet were reportedly lingering, chatting, and “gossiping”.
After the hotel staff waited for the area to clear, they then attempted to guide her through unlocking the door from inside. After some fiddling, the door finally opened.

The OP later updated that she was safe and unhurt, praising the hotel staff for their professionalism throughout the ordeal.
According to the OP’s friend, four security personnel were called in, and the engineer was instructed to “just break the whole lock” to free her.
“I’m out of the toilet. I’m good, I have recovered,” she said, before adding with a laugh: “10/10 toilet experience.”
