Motorcyclist dies after accident involving 3 motorcycles & a car along SLE
A 58-year-old motorcyclist has died after an accident involving four vehicles along the Seletar Expressway (SLE) on Tuesday (4 Aug).
Footage posted by SG Road Vigilante on Facebook showed at least two injured people lying on the road after the accident.

Motorcyclist collides with stationary car along SLE
The clip, recorded by a passing motorist, showed several motorcycles travelling along the SLE, including the far-right lane, amid a queue of slow-moving cars in the same lane.

But one of the motorcyclists suddenly collided with the rear-left corner of a stationary silver Tesla in the far-right lane.

This caused the motorcycle to crash into other motorcyclists.
3 motorcycles lie across road, but car drives away
As the queue of cars moved, it became apparent that three motorcycles lay across the road after falling onto their sides.

The accident scene took up two lanes of the road, with motorists having to avoid the accident vehicles and the motorcyclists lying on the road.
The Tesla involved in the crash drove away without stopping.
Eventually, the camcar and other motorists stopped on the road shoulder to render assistance.

4 sent to hospital, 1 later dies
In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 7.50am on 4 Aug.
It took place along the SLE in the direction of the Central Expressway (CTE), and involved a car and three motorcycles.
Three people were sent to the hospital in a conscious state — two male motorcyclists and a male pillion aged between 24 and 31.
A fourth person, a 58-year-old male motorcyclist, was sent to the hospital unconscious.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which was alerted at the same time, told MS News that two of them were conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital while the other two were conveyed to Woodlands Hospital.
However, the 58-year-old man subsequently passed away.
Police investigations are ongoing.
