Certis motorcycle flips on its side after accident with limousine taxi near Changi Airport
An auxiliary police officer from Certis was sent to the hospital on Friday (28 Aug) night after being involved in an accident with a limousine taxi near Changi Airport.
Footage posted in a Facebook group for private-hire drivers showed the officer and his motorcycle lying on the road after the collision.

Certis motorcycles lies on the road in front of limousine taxi
The clip, recorded by a passing motorist, showed a black Toyota Alphard limousine taxi stopped in the first-right lane of Airport Boulevard, next to the Changi Airport control tower and Jewel Changi Airport.

Directly in front of the taxi was a motorcycle with a flashing light on a pole that is used by Certis auxiliary police.
It was lying on its left side, while paramedics were attending to a person lying on the road next to it.

Also at the scene were a few Traffic Police motorcycles and officers.

46-year-old motorcyclist sent to TTSH in a conscious state
In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at 10.40pm on 28 Aug.
It took place along Airport Boulevard towards Changi Airport Terminal 1, and involved a taxi and a motorcycle.
A 46-year-old male motorcyclist was sent to the hospital in a conscious state.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which was alerted at the same time, told MS News that he was conveyed to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Additionally, a 54-year-old male taxi driver is assisting with police investigations, which are ongoing.
Certis officer fractured elbow
Certis said in a statement released to AsiaOne that its officer received immediate medical attention after fracturing his elbow.
The company is in close contact with him and his family, and its management team will support them by providing welfare, administrative and practical assistance during his recovey, the spokesperson said.
They also noted that the well-being of Certis officers is of utmost priority to the company.
