Netizen claiming to be Wilfred Lee’s aunt said he went to bed & never woke up
Singapore content creator and actor Wilfred Lee, known for videos on local attractions, food and travel, has purportedly died in his sleep at the age of 26.
Several netizens expressed shock and dismay at his apparent untimely passing in his most recent TikTok and Instagram posts, with others paying tribute to him.

Family members pay loving tribute to Wilfred Lee
In his most recent Instagram post on 19 Aug, a netizen claiming to be his aunt posted that Lee “passed away in his sleep”, having gone to bed and “never woke up”.

She described him as a “kind and cheerful soul” and a “loving nephew” but had left “far too soon”, adding:
Your love and memories will forever remain in our hearts.
Another commenter who called him her son said he was her “pride” and “joy”, and will “forever” be in her heart.

She also posted details of his wake, which is currently being held at Singapore Casket till Monday (7 Sept).
According to the graphic, a funeral will take place on Monday afternoon, with the subsequent cremation at Mandai.

The comments section of the same post was filled with netizens professing shock and sadness at the sudden news and expressing their condolences.

Wilfred Lee acted in theatre, commercials & TV serials
According to his bio posted on the website of theatre company Singapore Repertory Theatre (SRT), Lee was a Singapore Polytechnic graduate from its Diploma in Applied Drama and Psychology course.
He appeared in theatre productions including SRT’s “Stories From The Heart” and “After Life”, as well as Toy Factory Productions’ “For My Highness”.

Lee was also featured in commercials for organisations such as Mediacorp, the Land Transport Authority (LTA), the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) and SkillsFuture.
Entertainment database IMDb also lists him as having acted in two TV serials, “Sunny Side Up” and “People Like Us”.
More recently, Lee had been posting lifestyle clips on TikTok and Instagram, with close to 79,000 followers on both platforms combined.
