31-year-old officer was driver of police car that mounted kerb in Geylang Bahru
A 31-year-old male police officer is assisting with investigations after being involved in an accident in Geylang Bahru on Saturday (10 Oct) morning.
Photos posted by SG Road Vigilante showed that the fast response car had mounted the road divider.

Police car appears to have knocked down railing in Geylang Bahru
In the photo, the police car also appeared to have knocked down part of the railing on the road divider.
A police officer stood next to the car.
According to another photo, the front of the police car was also observed to have hit the railing.
At least four officers were standing near the scene.

A video of the accident scene posted on TikTok revealed that the accident had taken place in front of an HDB carpark entrance along Geylang Bahru Road.

The location is also outside Kolam Ayer Community Club.

Police officer assisting investigations
In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) confirmed that a police vehicle was involved in an accident at about 7.45am on 10 Oct.
The accident occurred along Geylang Bahru Road in the direction of Bendemeer Road. No injuries were reported.
The vehicle was being driven by a 31-year-old male officer, who is assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
