R&R is necessary to upkeep the appearance of our hawker centres

According to a National Environmental Agency (NEA) announcement, repair works will commence on 16 Mar and end on 15 May 2020.

Apart from ABC Brickworks, other hawker centres slated for renovation include:

  • Circuit Road Food Market & Food Centre (10 Feb till 31 Mar)
  • Toa Payoh Lorong 5 Market & Food Centre (3 Feb till 13 Mar)
  • Bedok 85 Market & Food Centre (10 Feb till 17 Apr)
  • Clementi Avenue 2 Market & Food Centre (2 Mar till 26 Apr)

To ensure cleanliness in public areas, spring cleaning of hawker centres is an absolute necessity.

Considering the spread of the Covid-19 virus, this is an excellent time to conduct an R&R, even if we are to miss out on a few months of good food.
