A video showing an individual in an astronaut suit walking along a pothole-ridden road in Kanchanaburi, Thailand has gone viral online.
The footage, shared on Facebook by Apirak Vanaruji on Saturday (29 Aug), shows an astronaut-like figure inspecting a damaged stretch of Route 323 between Sangkhlaburi and Thong Pha Phum.

According to Khaosad, the video was filmed around the Noen Chang Rong and Noen Yao Curve areas in Nong Lu subdistrict, Sangkhlaburi district.
Road compared to lunar surface
The video captured the deteriorating road running along a steep hillside.
The surface is heavily pitted with potholes, with its asphalt severely worn and broken down.

Portions of the road are visibly uneven, posing serious hazards for passing vehicles.
Footage also showed vehicles navigating the damaged stretch, raising concerns among road users over potential safety risks.
