Good Samaritan tries to warn resident after spotting suspected beehive outside Jurong West HDB unit
A Good Samaritan has raised the alarm after spotting what appeared to be a possible beehive outside the window of an HDB flat in Jurong West.

In a post shared on the Complaint Singapore Facebook group last Saturday (15 Aug), the Original Poster (OP) was trying to alert the resident of the unit about the unusual object outside their home.
“To the resident of this unit.. your windows outside got something look like beehive,” the OP said.

The post was also accompanied by photos showing the exterior of a residential block at Blk 820, Jurong West Street 81.
In the photos, the suspected hive could be seen near some windows on the sixth level of the building.

It was not immediately clear from the photos whether the object was indeed a beehive, a wasp nest, or something else.
There was also no mention in the post of whether bees or other insects had been spotted around the object.
Netizens advise OP to report via OneService App
The post has since drawn attention to the unusual sighting, with some netizens urging the OP to also report it using the OneService App.
A netizen was impressed by the OP spotting the suspected beehive, saying that they had “very sharp” eyes.

Town council getting pest control contractor to remove hive
In response to MS News’ queries, the West Coast-Jurong West Town Council said it was aware of the feedback and had requested its pest control contractor to remove the hive immediately.
“The safety and well-being of our residents remain our utmost priority,” said a spokesperson for the town council.
