Cafe La Rose In Bangkok Has A Gorgeous Flower Garden With Edible Roses To Boot
The sight of gorgeous flowers isn’t new to locals who frequent Gardens by the Bay. We all know at least one person who absolutely loves to take pictures of florals for their pastel-themed ‘gram, but who knew that you could eat them too?
We’ve recently discovered that Cafe La Rose in Bangkok lets you sip tea within an exquisite flower-covered interior whilst eating literal roses too.
The cafe is a pastel paradise with walls and roofs intricately decorated with pink, orange and red blossoms.

Gorgeous floral fantasy land
Couples looking for a chic date hangout in Bangkok can impress their dates by suggesting this romantic destination.
Guests who are single but looking to mingle can hang out at the rose bar to order some flower-themed drinks. They say love comes when you least expect it, so who knows what could happen once you spark a conversation with that charming person holding a sparkling rose champagne flute?
While waiting for your order, explore the corners adorned with fairy lights and meticulously arranged bouquets.
The usual coffee shops provide you with a clear view of your laptop, but this hole-in-the-wall lets you revel under a vibrant tree of flowers.
Floral concoctions from S$5
The establishment sells rose gelato scoops, rose imbued floral teas, and other spectacular desserts themed around flowers for a reasonable price.
This chocolate lava cake is topped with homemade rose ice cream. They say it’s not too sweet, but we’re curious to discover the taste of a rose-flavoured dessert for S$12.99 ($300 Baht).
Their rose bouquet ice-cream is the cherry-on-top of a cone of thicc egglet waffle. We absolutely adore the Pocky sticks with wee little edible flower sweets as toppings.
The rose-shaped filling looks so heavenly and we pray it doesn’t melt before you get a good pic.
Hands up if you already knew that rainbow-coloured rice noodles were a thing? We sure hope the dish tastes as good as it looks. Be warned that this version is on the spicy side with chili peppers, lemon, shrimp and onions.
Consider their stunning ombre Italian sodas in different colours and flavours for a refreshing break from the scorchingly hot tropical weather for S$5.20 (120 Baht).
How to get there
Cafe La Rose is near the neighbourhood of Ari in Bangkok and easily accessible by the BTS train line.
It’s along Phibun Wattana 10 Alley and a few metres from Bangkok’s Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning building.
Since it’s inside the neighbourhood, commuters could also take a tuk tuk or motorbike from the train station. Parking spots are available for drivers.
