Male car driver suffers minor injuries after Woodlands accident
A 39-year-old male driver is assisting police investigations after being involved in a car accident in Woodlands on Friday (11 Sept).
A photo of the aftermath posted in a Telegram chat group for motorists showed the grey Hyundai resting on a grass verge after having mounted the kerb along Woodlands Street 13.
Next to the car stood a Traffic Police officer.

Car knocks over traffic light in Woodlands
Footage of the incident posted in ROADS.sg on Facebook revealed that the car had apparently knocked over a traffic light and a tree.

The car’s front bumper was damaged in the crash, with its hood crumpled up and its airbags deployed.

The road seemed to be wet, possibly from the heavy rain that fell across the island on Friday.
Car believed to have self-skidded in Woodlands
In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 4.25pm on 11 Sept.
It took place at the junction of Woodlands Street 11 and Woodlands Street 13, and involved a car that is believed to have self-skidded.
A 39-year-old male driver sustained minor injuries, but refused to be conveyed to the hospital.
He is also assisting with police investigations, which are are ongoing.
