S’pore Has 305 New Covid-19 Cases On 18 May, Day 42 Of CB Shows Improvement In Flattening Curve

305 New Covid-19 Cases In Singapore, 2 Of Which Are Singaporeans Or PRs

The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced that there are 305 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore as of 12pm Monday (18 May).

This means that there are now 28,343 cases here.

Of these, 2 of them are Singaporeans or PRs.

No new deaths were reported — the death toll currently stands at 22.

Curve might be flattening in community

As we reach the potential tail-end of the ‘Circuit Breaker’, the curve looks to be flattening.

Although there are a lower number of cases due to fewer tests being done – MOH said 1 of the labs is still working on getting back to testing cases – signs appear positive as we head towards 1 Jun.

However, we cannot celebrate just yet as there might be a new spike in cases if we aren’t careful.

MOH will announce more detailed updates tonight.
