No injuries reported after car mounts kerb & crashes into traffic light in Sengkang
The police are looking for a driver who left the scene after crashing their car in Sengkang on Thursday (27 Aug) morning.
Photos of the aftermath posted in a Telegram chat group for motorists showed that the car had crashed into a traffic light, which toppled over.

Car damaged after encroaching onto traffic island in Sengkang
The photos indicated that the car, which had sustained damage to its bonnet, had encroached into a traffic island at the junction of Sengkang East Road and Sengkang East Way.
The police cordoned off part of the traffic island, which is frequented by several pedestrians as it is opposite Sengkang General Hospital and Sengkang Community Hub.

A number of police officers and a police motorcycle were at the scene, along with Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) personnel and a fire truck.

Car believed to have self-skidded in Sengkang
In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 6.20am on 27 Aug.
It took place along Sengkang East Road in the direction of Buangkok Green, and involved a car which was believed to have self-skidded.
No injuries were reported.
Efforts to trace driver underway
The car driver had left the scene before the police arrived, SPF said.
Thus, efforts to trace the driver are underway.
Police investigations are ongoing.
