Driver in M’sia hauls truckload of items on top of car, ends up scattering them all over road

Driver in Malaysia hauls truckload of items on top of car, scatters them all over road

Moving house is never easy, especially when you’re short on space. But one driver in Malaysia took matters into his own hands — quite literally piling what looked like an entire household’s worth of items on top of his tiny red Perodua Axia.

Unfortunately for him, this plan did not end well.

Driver turns car into moving truck, fails

In a viral TikTok clip posted on 19 May that’s racked up 3.4 million views in under 24 hours, a small red Axia is seen crawling along the road — almost invisible beneath a teetering stack of trash bags, plastic bins, and assorted household items tied down with flimsy rope.

Even the interior of the car seemed overloaded, with the driver’s door barely able to shut.

At one point, as the car gingerly navigates its way through oncoming traffic, an item falls off the back of the vehicle mid-drive, scattering onto the road behind.

Car causes mess on road

Another clip shows the car from the front — and it’s no better. With the windshield almost completely obscured by the chaotic pile, the vehicle looked more like a mobile landfill than a mode of transport.

Obscured completely by items atop the windshield, it is a wonder how the driver was able to see the road.

The clip ends with the car pulled over by the roadside, its makeshift mountain now a sprawling mess across the tarmac.

According to The Rakyat Post, the police later arrived at the scene to help clean up. It was not stated if the driver faced legal consequences for his actions.

Meanwhile, many online observers likened the incident to a scene straight out of Mr Bean or Final Destination.
