FairPrice opens new Elias Mall outlet with free health checks, grand opening festivities on 20 Sept
Imagine walking into a supermarket with high ceilings, huge windows allowing sunlight to pour in, and towering displays packed with colourful fresh fruit and vegetables.
It sounds like the kind of grocery store you’d stumble on while on holiday overseas, but it’s actually much closer to home, in the east of Singapore.
FairPrice has opened a new 24-hour store at Elias Mall, with fresh food at the centre alongside personalised services and quick meal options.

There are also opening promotions running throughout September, with a full day of festivities on 20 Sept.
Pick seafood from a 24-foot ice bed and shop towering displays of fresh produce
Fresh produce is one of the first things that will catch your eye at the new FairPrice Elias Mall, thanks to high-density four-tier displays stacked with fruit and vegetables.

The taller displays allow for more variety while keeping popular produce stocked throughout the day.
Also worth checking is the Fresh Picks, Lower Prices section, where frequently bought fresh essentials are marked down. The items on offer rotate, so the bargains change from visit to visit.

Over at the seafood section, FairPrice Elias Mall houses the chain’s largest seafood ice bed yet, a 24-foot, two-tier setup displaying fresh catches much like a traditional wet market, but within a modern supermarket.
There’s also live seafood, including clams and abalone, plus a rotating “Catch of the Day” selection at promotional prices.

Not sure which fish to pick or how best to prepare it? Fresh Service Ambassadors are stationed at the seafood counter during peak hours from 8am to 10am to offer recommendations, freshness tips, and cooking advice.
Once you’ve picked your fish, you can also have it filleted, deboned, or sliced according to how you plan to cook it.

And there’s no need to wait around while it’s being prepared. Shoppers receive a numbered collection token, so you can carry on with the rest of your grocery run and return to collect your seafood when it’s ready.
Complimentary vacuum packing is also available on request, helping to keep leaks and odours at bay on the journey home.

At the pork counter, shoppers can pick from everyday cuts as well as fresh Malaysian pork from pigs imported live and butchered locally.
The in-store butcher can also recommend suitable cuts and customise the portion, size, and thickness.

Get S$5 chicken bentos and viral kunafa chocolates
Of course, not every grocery run comes with the motivation to cook once you’re home.
For an easy meal, the new outlet has chicken bentos for S$5, alongside a wider selection of freshly prepared sushi, including an exclusive Fruit Series if you’re after something different than the usual.

Those who’ve been following the Dubai chocolate craze can also look out for Chocolake, a Jordanian chocolate brand launching alongside the new store.
Its range taps into the viral Middle Eastern combination of chocolate and crispy kataifi pastry, with flavours including dark chocolate kunafa pistachio, milk chocolate kunafa Bisco cream, and Diamond Twist varieties filled with Bisco cream or pistachio.

Chocolake is exclusive to FairPrice, and shoppers can sample the range at Elias Mall on 18 and 19 Sept from 10am to 8pm, and on 20 Sept from 9am to 7pm.
Get S$100 vouchers, S$10 trolley sets, and other opening deals
There are also several opening perks running this September.
From now till 30 Sept, shoppers can scan the QR code at the entrance on any visit for a chance to win a S$100 FairPrice Golden Ticket voucher.
Shoppers can also collect stamps by spending at least S$30 in a single receipt, with rewards unlocked along the way:
- Three stamps: FairPrice laundry capsules
- Six stamps: Silicone food pouch
- Nine stamps: FairPrice trolley and cooler bag
If you don’t want to wait till you’ve collected nine stamps, spend at least S$50 in a single receipt and you can buy the trolley and cooler bag set for S$10, while stocks last.

Eligible shoppers can stack on more savings, too. CHAS Blue cardholders get 6% off on Thursdays, while CHAS Orange cardholders get 6% off on Fridays, with the upsized discount running until 1 Jan 2027.
Link members also earn 0.5 Linkpoints for every S$1 spent, with no minimum spend, and can use them to offset future grocery purchases.
Over at Unity, Health+ Herbal Blend Packs are on a buy-one-get-one-free promotion till 16 Sept, while Korean brand Frutrip’s wellness shots are 15% off until 21 Oct.

Get a free three-minute health check at Unity
Speaking of Unity, the pharmacy within FairPrice Elias Mall has introduced an “East Meets West” wellness zone, bringing together traditional Eastern remedies and Western health supplements in one space.

Shoppers can start their visit with a complimentary three-minute body composition analysis using a Tanita Body Composition Analyser.

The results are then used to generate AI-powered wellness insights through Wellness Genie, after which a Unity pharmacist can explain the findings and offer guidance based on individual needs.

There will also be weekly brand showcases featuring new and exclusive products, sampling, health education, and promotions, giving regular shoppers something different to discover each visit.
Head down to FairPrice Elias Mall on 20 Sept for the grand opening celebrations
Although the supermarket has been open since 1 Sept, FairPrice Elias Mall’s grand opening celebrations take place on 20 Sept, with the official programme running from 10.30am to 12pm.
There’s enough happening around it to make a morning of the visit, too.
From 10am to 2pm, shoppers can get free freshly popped popcorn and catch balloon sculpting around the store, while a lion dance and God of Fortune appearance take place at 11am.
There’ll be more samples throughout the morning as well. In addition to the Chocolake tasting mentioned earlier, FairPrice housebrand products will be available to try from 9am to 5pm, while Frutrip Daily Wellness Shots will be sampled from 10am to 6pm.
At 11.30am, shoppers can take part in a Protein Pledge memory game for a chance to bring home a tray of 10 eggs, while stocks last.
Another game runs from 11.30am to 1.30pm, challenging participants to match foods to nutrients such as protein, iron, and vitamin C.
