62-year-old male car driver assisting investigations into accident with girl in Yishun
An 11-year-old girl was sent to the hospital on Wednesday (7 Oct) afternoon after being involved in an accident with a car in Yishun.
Footage posted on @sgfollowsall on Instagram showed the girl lying in front of a blue car at an open-air carpark.

Paramedics & onlookers surrounding girl lying in Yishun carpark
In the clip, the girl was surrounded by paramedics who were attending to her.
A bystander helped her by shielding her from the sun with an umbrella.

Girl in ‘intense pain’ after accident with car
According to the caption written by a follower of the account, the primary school student was allegedly hit by the car after school.
She was jaywalking, the user claimed.
After the accident, she tried to move but could not due to “intense pain”. An ambulance was thus called.
Girl sent to KKH in a conscious state
In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 1.15pm on 7 Oct.
It took place Block 813A Yishun Ring Road, and involved a car and an 11-year-old female pedestrian.
The girl was sent to the hospital in a conscious state.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which was alerted at the same time, told MS News that she was conveyed to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH).
Additionally, a 62-year-old male car driver is assisting with investigations.
Police investigations are ongoing.
