Huawei Apologises For Sold Out Phones, Asks Everyone To Stop Going To Their Stores For $54 Offer

Huawei‘s affordable phones continue to take Singapore by storm.

Their Y6 Pro $54 promotion was supposed to be held for 3 days — from Friday (26 Jul) till Sunday (28 Jul).

However, things had gone entirely out of hand when members of the public – comprising mostly senior citizens – came in hordes to get their hands on the phones.

They quickly formed snaking queues at a feverish pace throughout Singapore malls.

Very soon after the phones were sold out, opportunistic re-sellers are already being spotted on Carousell.

Enjoy using your Huaweis, lucky ones

Although the offer was good, it’s unfortunate the promotion raised such furore among Huawei fans. We hope the lucky few who managed to snag the phone will thoroughly enjoy using its features — after all, $54 was indeed a steal.
