Tackling his fears

JJ Lin’s world tour began on 17 March at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai.

To the delight of fans, he sang A Thousand Years Later while suspended in the air.

He pulled off the stunt despite being afraid of heights.

You can watch the performance here.

Collaboration with other musicians

The Singaporean mandopop star has also collaborated with famous musicians David Foster and Hans Zimmer for his current world tour.

Hans Zimmer is the Hollywood score composer behind some of the music in The Lion King and the Pirates of the Caribbean.

He composed the track played in the background of while JJ sang A Thousand Years Later in Shanghai.

During the same show, Canadian musician David Foster played the piano while JJ sang a cover of Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You.
