Victim blinded by high beams of oncoming car

According to Malaysia’s news outlet Sin Chew Daily, the driver was cruising along the highway when a car in the opposite direction suddenly switched on its high beams, leaving him momentarily disoriented.

He then veered off course and crashed into the metal road divider.

The impact was so powerful that a large metal sheet from the divider pierced straight through the vehicle’s cabin, coming dangerously close to the driver’s seat but missing him by mere inches.

Miraculously, the driver emerged without a single scratch. He even managed to climb out of the wreckage on his own.

Hospitalisation not required as driver did not sustain any injury

Emergency personnel from the Bintulu Fire and Rescue Department arrived swiftly at the scene following a distress call.

Using cutting tools, they carefully removed the jagged metal that had embedded itself inside the car to ensure the area was safe.

As the driver was miraculously unharmed, he did not need to be taken to the hospital.
