13-Year-Old Missing Boy Who Was Last Seen At Serangoon North Reportedly Found

Missing Boy Last Seen At Serangoon North Reportedly Found

UPDATE (20 Apr, 9.40am): Citing a police update, Channel NewsAsia (CNA) reported that the young boy who went missing in Serangoon North has been found. No other details were provided, but we hope that he’s safe and sound.

Singapore is generally a safe country, where residents may not worry as much about the safety of their children. However, when news of minors going missing breaks, it still sparks concern for the child’s well-being.

It must also be a huge blow to the child’s parents, who are surely constantly thinking about where their loved one could have gone.

We can thus only imagine the pain and distress felt by the relatives of a 13-year-old boy who recently disappeared in Serangoon North, and has not been seen for a week.

Teenage boy missing since 12 Apr

On Tuesday (18 Apr), the Singapore Police Force (SPF) published an appeal for information on a missing boy.

They identified the boy as Pritesh Ram Sivan Kumaran, who is 13 years old.

Pritesh was reportedly last seen on 12 Apr at around 7.45pm. This means that at the time of writing, a week has passed since his disappearance.

However, it’s not clear why the appeal came so long after he went missing.

SPF, however, has not specified what Pritesh was wearing, who he was with at the time, or any other details about this case.

Police appealing to the public for assistance

If you or anyone you know has any information about Pritesh, please call the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000. You may also submit an online report at their website here.

Any information or tip-offs you provide to the SPF will be kept strictly confidential.

As safe as Singapore is, the disappearance of someone you care about surely causes much concern — let alone the disappearance of a child.

We hope that Pritesh can be found safely and reunited with his loved ones as soon as possible.
