Car driver assisting with investigations into accident with motorcyclist in Admiralty
A 47-year-old female motorcyclist was sent to hospital in an unconscious state on Monday (31 Aug) morning after being involved in an accident with a car in Admiralty.
Footage of the aftermath posted in a Telegram chat group for motorists showed the white car stopped across the road with what appeared to be a fallen motorcycle next to it.

Motorists diverted due to partial closure of Admiralty Road West
The clip, which was recorded from a passing vehicle, showed traffic along Admiralty Road West being diverted due to a road closure.

A police car and police motorcycle blocked off two lanes of the road, meaning motorists had to turn right into Sembawang Drive.

A Telegram user claimed the stretch of Admiralty Road West outside Sembawang Camp and Sembawang Shipyard was blocked due to a “fatal accident”.

Further ahead, a white car was seen obstructing both lanes of the road.

Next to the car were several police officers as well as a police motorcycle a few metres behind it.

Motorcyclist sent to hospital unconscious
In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 8.15am on 31 Aug.
It took place along Admiralty Road West in the direction of Admiralty Road East, and involved a car and a motorcycle.
A 47-year-old female motorcyclist was sent to the hospital in an unconscious state.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which was alerted at the same time, said she was conveyed to Woodlands Hospital.
Additionally, a 27-year-old male car driver is assisting with police investigations, which are ongoing.
