Whether they had worn masks while executing their tasks is unclear.

NetLink assures that they are working with the contractor to assist the Ministry of Health (MOH) with contact tracing.

None of the 4 workers have been in close contact with other NetLink employees in the last 14 days.

Following MOH and Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) guidelines, NetLink has suspended all work requiring home or office visits.

The temporary suspension may end following a review of their current precautionary measures.

In the meantime, NetLink will be contacting affected customers to inform them of the suspended services.

Apologise for inconvenience & seek public understanding

While they acknowledge and apologise for the sudden inconvenience, the company emphasises the importance of public safety.

They hence seek everyone’s understanding of the matter as they monitor the situation and plan any further measures to take.

For now, we hope that they get in touch with the customers whose homes the workers have visited to inform them of the news.

We wish them well, and wish the workers a smooth recovery.
