36-year-old male pedestrian sent to hospital after accident with car in front of Punggol zebra crossing
A 36-year-old male pedestrian was sent to the hospital on Thursday (22 Oct) after being involved in an accident with a car in Punggol.
Footage of the aftermath posted on Threads showed the injured man lying on the pavement just before a zebra crossing.

Injured pedestrian attended to by paramedics
In the clip, recorded from the kitchen window of a nearby residence, three paramedics and two other people were attending to the man, whose head appeared to have been wrapped in bandages.
A stretcher had also been deployed.
Nearby, a silver car had stopped along the filter lane. A man sporting white hair stood next to its rear door, looking at his phone.

Accident causes congestion along Punggol filter lane
It was also observed that the accident had caused slight congestion along the filter lane, with motorists reduced to passing through just one lane.

As the injured man was loaded onto a stretcher to be sent to the hospital, the silver car remained at its spot.
A police officer was also spotted at the scene.

Pedestrian conveyed to CGH after accident with car
In response to queries from MS News, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it was alerted to the accident at about 7.15am on 22 Oct.
It took place along Punggol Road in the direction of Hougang Avenue 10, and involved a car and a pedestrian.
A 36-year-old male pedestrian was sent to the hospital in a conscious state.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which was alerted at 7.20am, told MS News that he was conveyed to Changi General Hospital (CGH).
Additionally, a 67-year-old male driver is assisting with police investigations, which are ongoing.
