The email appears to be from Qoo10 but the company denies this.

It claims that the scam is out to get customers’ personal data, including their credit card information.

Qoo10 advises users not to click on any of the email’s links.

In an interview with The Straits Times, a Qoo10 spokesperson said,

We advised them not to click the link or open the attachment in the e-mail and clarified that Qoo10 will not ask for their personal information or credit card details in unsolicited messages. We also reassured our customers that their personal information is stored safely with Qoo10.

The scam has no known victims yet. Qoo10 has also reported the matter to the police.
