Youth performs risky scooter stunts at locations across Singapore
A youth in Singapore has drawn attention online after being filmed performing a series of high-risk scooter tricks at various locations, including an HDB car park and Tanjong Pagar MRT station.

The 30-second video was shared by Instagram account @sgfollowsall on 25 Aug with the caption: “Can anot?”
In the footage, the youth could be seen taking on staircases and steep slopes while riding his kickscooter.

At the beginning of the video, he rode his scooter off the roof of the entrance to a multi-storey car park in a daring move.
He was also filmed riding and performing tricks around the Tanjong Pagar MRT station at night with a friend.

At one point, the youth could also be seen scooting down the middle of two escalators at the train station.
Meanwhile, another clip showed the pair scooting on the road with a motorcyclist and a passing car in the background.
Mixed reactions from netizens, some concerned about safety
The video has prompted netizens to react, with some questioning whether such tricks should be performed in public spaces.
However, one netizen who felt that it was dangerous was also “surprised by how good they are”.

Another Instagram user said “at least they chose off peak periods” to do their tricks, and that it is better than “doom scrolling on TikTok”.

A commenter also shared that they were more concerned for the safety of the pair.

Youth in video responds to netizens
The individual in the video, who responded to the comments on the post, has since defended his own actions.
“I’m a trained professional I know what I’m doing, nothing was damaged, and no one was hurt, you guys should make use of your time better,” he wrote.
