Stefanie Sun falls down during concert in Tianjin, completes the rest of the show
“National treasure” Stefanie Sun has said she is recovering after falling down during her concert in Tianjin, China on Friday (11 Sept) and suffering sore muscles as a result.
Multiple videos uploaded on XiaoHongShu showed the Singaporean pop queen taking a nasty tumble on stage, but getting up quickly and completing the rest of the performance.

Stefanie Sun falls while sprinting on stage during concert
According to the clips recorded by concertgoers, the incident happened towards the end of a song ironically titled “Run”, when Sun was sprinting up the stage towards her dancers.

As she did this, she appeared to lose her footing and fell to her knees, with her arms breaking her fall.

A loud “thud” was heard as the microphone in her right hand slammed onto the stage floor.

After the fall, some of Sun’s dancers rushed forward to help her up.

Incredibly, she managed to get to her feet within seconds and continued the performance, acting like nothing had happened, even executing a quick turn among her dancers.

Thankfully, this was just before she was due to go off stage for a scheduled costume change.
Stefanie Sun later helped offstage by crew members
Despite the unfortunate mishap, Sun displayed her professionalism and completed the rest of the concert without a hitch.
However, later in the show, the toll on her body became apparent as she seemed to have difficulty walking.
She was then helped offstage by crew members, limping slightly.

Stefanie Sun assures fans that she’s alright
In a Facebook post on Saturday (12 Sept), the 48-year-old Sun addressed the incident, assuring fans that she was alright, other than some muscle soreness.
She explained that her feet had inexplicably “shrunk” lately, causing her once-fitting shoes to become loose during the concert.
This made it easy for her to slip while turning, she said.
She had also suffered cramps, first in her right leg, then in her left.
Telling fans not to worry, she added that she was “recovering” by putting ice on the area and eating good food.

Stefanie Sun suffered cramp mid-song at Taipei concert
This is not the first mishap that occurred during Sun’s current series of concerts.
During her Taipei show on 15 May, she suffered a cramp in her leg mid-song, with videos showing her grimacing in pain.

This did not stop her from completing the song perfectly. But she gripped her right leg after finally finishing.

After that, staff members reportedly helped her to a seat and massaged her legs for about 2 minutes.
