Women aged 37 & 39 arrested after police raid at Sims Ave massage parlour
Two women have been arrested for suspected vice-related activities at a massage parlour along Sims Avenue, said the Geylang Neighbourhood Police Centre (NPC) in a Facebook post on Monday (28 Sept).
Its photo showed four women sitting on sofas at the said establishment during the raid.

Sims Ave massage parlour raided on 18 Sept
Geylang NPC said the enforcement operation was conducted together with Bedok Police Division’s Compliance Management Unit on 18 Sept.
The two women arrested were aged 37 and 39, according to AsiaOne. It was not mentioned what happened to the two other women in the photo.
The NPC did, however, remind members of the public not to engage in vice-related activities.
They were also encouraged to report any such suspected activities to the police.
3 women arrested during Geylang raid in June
The latest anti-vice raid by Geylang NPC took place close to three months after one along Geylang Road on 29 June.
That operation, conducted with the Bedok Police Division’s Crime Control Unit, resulted in the arrest of three women for their suspected involvement in vice-related activities.

Anti-vice raids conducted regularly: Police
Geylang NPC said such operations are conducted regularly to deter vice-related activities and safeguard the safety and security of the community.
It noted that the police will continue to take “firm enforcement action” against such illegal activities.
It also urged landlords and property owners to “remain vigilant” and contact the police if they get wind of any suspicious or unlawful activities.
Jail & fine for involvement in place of assignation
Under Section 147(1) of the Women’s Charter Act 1961, keeping, managing or assisting in the management of a place of assignation is an offence.
It carries a prison term of up to five years and/or a fine of up to S$100,000.
Repeat offenders may be jailed for up to seven years and/or fined up to S$150,000.
