Paya Lebar Quarter Mall Will Have More Than 200 Stores
As if Paya Lebar Square and the spanking new SingPost Centre aren’t enough, Easties are in for another treat with the opening of Paya Lebar Quarter Mall (PLQ).
Connected to Paya Lebar MRT station, the new mall will add so many more shopping and dining options.
With a cinema, family-friendly stores and countless food places in the works, this might just be the latest shopping haven.
Singapore’s firsts at Paya Lebar Quarter Mall
A full list of the mall directory isn’t out yet, but property developer Lendlease has hinted at a few stores that will open there.
Some of the ones mentioned in Thursday’s (15 Aug) press release include:
Mom’s Touch by No Signboard Group, a popular South Korean fried chicken chain that will open its first Singapore outlet at PLQ.
Now all the Korean food lovers will have a new joint to frequent. Daebak!
Keeping to the East Asian cuisine, there’ll also be Hayai, which will sell Singapore’s first Onigirazu or Japanese rice sandwich.
The food supposedly contains no pork and no lard, so who knows, maybe a halal certification is on the horizon?
Bubble tea lovers who adore the Taiwanese concoction will forget about pearls once they taste the rich milk tea from Fong Sheng Hao.
Pair that with their signature charcoal-grilled toast and you’ll instantly be transported to the streets of Taipei.
Other food outlets that visitors can look forward to include:
- Wursthans Switzerland
- Lucky Bird
- Haidilao Hot Pot
- The Providore
- Wine Connection
- Starbucks Reserveâ„¢
- TungLok Seafood
- Duckland
With so many dining options in-store, you surely won’t feel hungry after a long day of shopping.
Fun for the whole family
Of course, PLQ won’t just be about the food. Stores for the whole family will also be available, the highlight of which is probably Shaw Theatres, with 12 halls and an IMAX theatre complete with the latest laser projection technology.
In total, more than 200 stores are lined up for Paya Lebar Quarter Mall’s grand opening, so look out for announcements closer to the date.
Mark your calendars for 30 August, and be the first to check out the latest and coolest new mall in the East.
