Beverage Stall Assistant In Woodlands Has Covid-19, Stopped Coming To Work After Showing Symptoms
Amidst the recent spike in Covid-19 cases in Singapore, a 55-year-old woman who works as a beverage stall assistant is among the latest infected.
Her diagnosis was confirmed by the owner of Yummy Food Link coffee shop in an interview with 8World News today (24 Mar).
The coffee shop is located at Block 111, Woodlands Street 13.

Woodlands stall assistant in good condition despite having Covid-19
Coffee shop owner, known only as Mr Chan, informed that the beverage stall assistant is a Singaporean employee and is currently in good condition.
After experiencing onset of symptoms on 18 Mar, the lady had gone to see a doctor the next day. She mostly stayed at home after that and had not gone to work since.
She was confirmed as a Covid-19 patient last Saturday (21 Mar).
However, Mr Chan said it still remains unclear as to where or how she got infected.
Woodlands coffee shop takes precautions against Covid-19
After the 55-year-old was confirmed, 5 other employees from the same stall were placed under a 14-day quarantine as well.
Mr. Chen has also decided to close the coffee shop for 14 days starting last Sunday (22 Mar) for disinfection purposes. The 10 other stalls in the shop will be deep cleaned too.

It’s good to see that Mr Chan is taking the necessary precautions to keep his employees and customers safe.
