On Tuesday (31 Aug), a netizen shared photos of moody cat portraits at the Bugis MRT platform to the Cats & Kittens of Singapore (C&K) Facebook group. The stylishly outfitted cats appear to be a part of Apple’s “Shot on iPhone” campaign.
Perhaps adopting a monochromatic effect is the secret to capturing the best photos of the often nonchalant felines.

Bugis commuters may have recently caught sight of these stylish kitties on the MRT platform.
Decked in human outfits, their steely gazes serve as mesmerising distractions while waiting for the train to arrive.
This majestic floof in particular has an enchanting camera presence that could leave any model scout pawsitively impressed.
As the popular saying goes, simplicity is beauty. And with a black and white effect, you can add dramatic flair to your cat’s perpetual poker face.
To better spot the difference between a coloured and monochromatic version, Apple uploaded a short clip of the brief editing process. In this example, the photographer used the “High-Key Light Mono Portrait Lighting” portrait setting on the iPhone 12 Pro.
