Three men to face charges following attack at Eu Tong Sen Street
Three men, aged between 20 and 21, are set to face charges following an assault on an 18-year-old man during a dispute along Eu Tong Sen Street.
According to a statement by the Singapore Police Force (SPF) on Monday (11 May), the attack occurred at around 3.15am on Sunday (10 May).
The victim suffered lacerations to his lips and was taken to the hospital while still conscious for medical treatment.

Police arrest suspects on same day
Officers from the Central Police Division carried out follow-up investigations after the incident.
With the help of CCTV footage and images from police cameras, officers identified and arrested all three suspects on the same day.
A search is still ongoing for the remaining assailants involved in the case.

Suspects face up to 7 years’ jail and caning
The trio will be charged in court today (12 May) with rioting under Section 147 of the Penal Code 1871.
If convicted, they could face up to seven years’ jail and caning.
In its statement, the police reiterated their zero-tolerance stance on violent acts that endanger public safety.
They added that firm action will be taken against those who commit such offences.
