Electric mobility scooter spotted travelling on busy road
An electric mobility scooter allegedly driven by an elderly woman was almost hit by passing cars while travelling on a busy road in Thailand.
Almost hit by passing cars twice
According to an Instagram video shared by @m_bantaotechnic last Friday (14 Aug), the vehicle was spotted moving slowly along a three-lane road.
A sedan and a pickup truck nearly struck the rider from behind as she slowly switched to the rightmost lane to make a U-turn.
In the dashcam footage, the driver and their passenger could be heard gasping in shock at what they were witnessing.
The post’s caption read: “Whose mother is this? Please come and take her.”

One of the people in the car raised a question as to why the rider’s family allowed her to drive such a vehicle on the road, implying an accident could happen.
Netizens described incident as thrilling
After witnessing the footage, one user remarked that the incident had them feeling terrified.
