Cheers Breakfast Club returns, FairPrice Foundation to give free breakfast bundles to 12,000 PSLE students
Primary 6 students preparing for the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) can look forward to some extra support this September, with FairPrice Foundation distributing 12,000 free breakfast bundles islandwide.
In a press release on Monday (17 Aug), FairPrice Foundation, the philanthropic arm of FairPrice Group, announced the return of its Cheers Breakfast Club initiative for the third year running, in partnership with convenience chains Cheers and FairPrice Xpress.

The 12,000 bundles will go to about 30% of Singapore’s Primary 6 cohort, based on the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) 2025 figures.
Bundles contain breakfast staples, drinks, fruit, and snacks
The initiative aims to give students a nutritious start to the day during the exam period, as part of FairPrice Foundation’s broader efforts to make nutritious food more accessible.
Each bundle is worth more than S$25 and includes instant oatmeal, tuna flakes, oat milk, cereal, biscuits, apples, Brand’s Essence of Chicken, and a Milo drink.

More than 2,600 bundles have also been set aside for Primary 6 student beneficiaries from Self-Help Groups.
These include the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC), Eurasian Association, Yayasan MENDAKI, and the Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA).
Redemption starts on 3 Sept
The bundles will be available for redemption at 51 participating Cheers and FairPrice Xpress outlets islandwide from 1pm on 3 Sept.
Redemption will continue during operating hours from 4 to 6 Sept on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last.
Primary 6 students can redeem one bundle by presenting their student card or PSLE examination slip.
Parents may also redeem a bundle on their child’s behalf by presenting their child’s student card or a physical or electronic examination slip.

Launch event featuring interactive quizzes and giveaways
Cheers Ang Mo Kio Hub will also host a launch event on 3 Sept from 1pm to 3pm, featuring Mediacorp 987 DJ Joakim Gomez, interactive quizzes, and giveaways.
The first 50 students to redeem a bundle at the launch event will also receive an autographed card.
Pearlyn Woo, whose son is taking the PSLE this year, said having the breakfast items “ready to grab in the morning” makes the family’s routine easier, adding that “every bit of encouragement counts” when preparing for exams.
