Enjoys breakfast kaya toast and eggs after returning from overseas

“Over the years, I have travelled quite extensively to many parts of the world,” said Mr Singh on 1 Sept.

He then opined that “very few places” worldwide can match the local breakfast cuisine in Singapore.

Whether it’s prata, mee rebus, wanton mee, mee-pok, thosai, appam or whatever – our local breakfast fare is simply superb!

Mr Singh explained that he went overseas last week to spend time with his two sons.

To start this week, he met up with friends in Punggol and had the classic “Set A”. The breakfast consisted of kaya butter toast, eggs, and teh-o. Simple but shiok, he declared.
