Audi and lorry drivers allegedly engage in road rage on Thomson Road
The drivers of an Audi A5 Sportback and a lorry allegedly engaged in a road rage incident in the middle of Thomson Road on 1 Sept.
A video and dashcam footage of the incident, showing the two male drivers arguing and getting mildly physical, were posted on the SGRV ADMIN Facebook page on 2 Sept.
Two men curse each other while driving
In the lorry’s dashcam footage taken at 3.47pm, two men believed to be the lorry and Audi drivers can be heard having a heated argument and cursing at each other while driving.
A crying child and a shouting woman can also be heard in the background.
The dark green Audi then cuts in front of the lorry, flashes its hazard lights, and stops in the middle of the road.
Its driver then gets out of the vehicle and approaches the lorry.
Lorry driver allegedly pointed middle finger at Audi driver
In a video taken by the lorry driver, the Audi driver, who is now outside the driver’s side of the lorry, asks, “Just now you turn, you never see ah, brother? You point middle finger for what?”.
His anger escalating, he repeatedly asks why the lorry driver gave him the middle finger.

Meanwhile, the lorry driver responds, saying, “Don’t talk to me like this. You cannot stop in the road!”.
The Audi driver then appears to grab the phone the lorry driver was using to record their altercation.

Audi driver slams chest against lorry driver
When he steps away, the Audi driver taunts the lorry driver to “come”.
The lorry driver then walks towards the Audi and stops in front of it, appearing to make a call, while the car driver follows him, shouting.

The Audi driver enters the car, but the lorry driver stays in front of it, blocking its path.
He tries to back up, but the lorry driver shouts at him, stepping towards the car to keep it from leaving.
A moment later, the Audi driver steps out again, shouting and pointing angrily at the lorry driver before slamming his chest against him and causing him to stumble towards the left lane.
Following this, a woman can be heard shouting from the car. Someone also opens the passenger door but closes it not long after.
Audi driver moves vehicle away
The Audi driver then re-enters the car and drives forward slowly despite the lorry driver still being in front.
However, the car stops a few metres away on the left side of the road for an unknown reason and appears to cause another lorry to stop.

Meanwhile, the lorry driver involved in the altercation moves in front of his vehicle and remains in a call.
One man conveyed to hospital
In response to MS News enquiries, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said it received a call for assistance along Thomson Road at around 3.50pm on 1 Sept.
Subsequently, a 52-year-old man was conveyed conscious to the hospital.
He and a 35-year-old man are assisting with investigations for offences under the Protection from Harassment Act 2014.
Additionally, the 35-year-old is assisting the police with investigations for voluntarily causing hurt.
