Auxiliary Police Officer Found Dead At Woodlands Checkpoint With Head Gunshot Wound

The Auxuliary Police Officer Was Pronounced Dead At 7.09am

A 48-year-old Aetos Auxiliary Police officer was found dead at Woodlands Checkpoint on Thursday (10 Jan) morning.

He was found with a fatal gunshot wound to his head.

Police officers arrived at the scene after receiving a call for assistance at 6.38am this morning.

The deceased was found alone at a staff resting area with his service firearm lying next to him.

The 48-year-old was later pronounced dead by paramedics at 7.09am.

Police investigation are ongoing as of the time of this article, and no foul play is suspected.

Just last year, a 23-year-old police NSF was found at the Protective Security Command with a gunshot wound to his head.

He was sent to the National University Hospital but sadly succumbed to his injuries 6 days later.
