Super Strong Auntie Shakes 200kg Claw Machine To Get Soft Toy
Singapore might have the most interesting aunties in the world. From kancheong spiders to those who can memorise your entire group’s drink orders without pen or paper.
However, we bet that you didn’t know there are rare ones who can shake 200kg machines as well.
In a video from Stomp, an auntie can be seen violently shaking a 2-meter tall claw machine at a 24-hour shop located in the basement of Lucky Plaza on Monday (7 Oct) to get a soft toy.
Shook the machine until the toy came out
From the video, we can see that the auntie started to shake the claw machine even though she had not yet made an attempt to catch the soft toy.
After shaking the machine for about 10 seconds, she decided to insert a coin to win the soft toy fair and square. However, she did not succeed.
When she realised she was not going to win, the strong auntie decided to switch up her strategy from technique to brute force.
She held the 200kg machine by its sides and started to shake it violently. Eventually, she tilted the machine in a 45-degree angle, which caused the stuffed toy to drop, giving her the prize she wanted.

According to the Stomp article, the claw machine owner told Stomp reporters that she does not want to catch the auntie but instead wants to inform everyone that there is a CCTV in the shop.
She also said that the machines were heavy and it’s dangerous to shake machines in that manner.
Customers whose soft toys are stuck on the claw can always approach the staff to claim the toy so there is no need to resort to violence.
