Netizens Complain They Can’t See Aunties Fight In Viral Video

This seems like the mentality most of us would have. Who doesn’t want front-row seats to something popcorn-worthy?
So, you do what you can. Or did you?
In a time where social media is saturated by dramatic clips, netizens seem to have higher expectations for viral videos now.
Case in point. Facebook page All Singapore Stuff uploaded a video of aunties fighting on the MRT this Tuesday (4 Jun) to share the juicy deets with its followers.
But eh, why so blurry ah?
Getting motion sickness as aunties fight
The 41-second clip begins with a loud ruckus as a ‘fight’ between two ladies occur in a random MRT cabin.
Only, out of the astoundingly long video, only about 3 seconds show the actual fight happening.
The footage is extremely ‘shaky’ and ‘blurry’ to say the least, as the user attempts to capture the drama unfolding.
Unfortunately, commuters keep walking into the frame as they avoid the fight.
If you’re watching the video, look out for a random man in red getting up from the MRT seat.
And a cameo by this black and white printed T-shirt lady’s back.

Standards are high for viral videos these days
Netizens were quick to judge the quality of the content — quite literally it seems.
Most gripes were about the stability of the camera, with some netizens asking if an “earthquake” had happened.
Others pointed out that it was impossible to “see the 2 aunties”, and questioned the purpose of the upload.
Many found the comments section even more amusing than the actual video.
Producing quality content, because #priorities
The lesson we can all learn from this hilarious episode is that Singaporeans, though kaypoh, do seem to have standards when it comes to watching real-life drama play out.
Of course, we do hope that the fight didn’t end in anyone getting injured. This is also not behaviour that we would encourage on our trains.
For future reference though, HD uploads in 1080p and above will be greatly appreciated.
