Schoolboy In Singapore Wears 3 Cardboard Boxes To Enter Parklane LAN Shop
As a kid, after-school plans to the nearby LAN gaming shops usually involve bringing along a change of clothes.
But what if you were stuck with the school uniform that literally screams that you’re a student?
The following boy will show you just how ingenious our young ones can be when faced with such a situation.
Student-transformed cardboard box boy
On Wednesday (29 May), an Instagram user who goes by the handle “terenex” shared a hilarious encounter on her InstaStory.
A young boy, presumably a primary or lower secondary student, was seen with 2 cardboard boxes over his uniform.
Pretty unconventional, we must say. He even had cutouts for his arms.
With his newfound cardboard box suit, he waddled into a LAN shop.
It then dawned on the Instagram user that he was trying to hide his identity as a schoolboy in order to enter the cyber café.
Another attempt, another box
What happened immediately after was unknown to us, but it seemed like the boy did not succeed with his disguise attempt.
After dabao-ing lunch with her companions, the Instagram user saw the same boy once again.
This time, he added one more box to his makeshift costume, bringing the number of boxes to a grand total of 3.
Truth be told, we’ll probably be misled by his full-fledged box suit, albeit with a tinge of amusement if we were working at the cyber café.
Box your way through to your dreams
While it is unknown if he was finally granted permission to play in the LAN shop, we can’t help but picture him as Danbo with headphones here.
While there’s no doubt that he has a knack for thinking out of the box in the face of ‘adversities’, perhaps he’ll remember to bring home clothes instead the next time round.
