Drive Lah App Lets S’poreans Rent Cars AirBnb-Style
Airbnb revolutionised the travel industry by being one of the world’s first platforms to allow ordinary folk to borrow and rent out their homes.
Now, a local company, “Drive Lah” is entering the market to do the same, but for cars.
According to TODAY Online, Drive Lah allows you to not only to borrow a car, but to also earn passive income by renting out your own when it’s not in use.
Drive Lah app allows you to rent a car from $45/day
If you’re looking to rent a car short-term, this mobile application would be a good place to start.
After creating an account with Drive Lah, all you’ll need to do next is enter your preferred vehicle pickup location and scroll through a gallery of 400+ cars. You can choose from a range of prices and car types – from standard to luxury cars.
After deciding on your choice of car, you can drop the car owner a message, and you’re good to go.
Letting your car work for you
On the other hand, if you’re a car owner yourself who might be underutilising your vehicle, Drive Lah is allowing you to open for yourself a whole new income stream.
To list your car, you’ll first have to fill up location details and key in your car features.
After that, you can go through a set of car rules and decide how much you’ll be comfortable renting out your car for.
You’ll also need to upload a picture of your car, so make sure your car is squeaky clean because you’ll want your car to look chio.
Lastly, you’ll have to go through a few verification steps and you’re done.
