Man caught taking upskirt videos in M’sia had 500gb worth of footage in phone
A man was mobbed and restrained by a group of students after he was caught filming upskirt videos near Lot 10 Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The incident was captured on video by one of the students, Ms Ngo Sinn Er, who later posted it online.

In the footage, the man can be seen closely tailing a woman, discreetly pointing a paper bag under her skirt, with a mobile phone hidden inside and the camera lens facing upwards.
When confronted, the man attempted to flee but was swiftly taken down by a group of university students.
After the man tried to run away, one of his apprehenders took him by the chokehold.

He tried to flee another time, prompting the young men to mob him and ask him to show them his phone.
Despite repeated efforts to escape, he was eventually subdued until the police arrived.
500gb of voyeuristic videos found in pervert’s phone
Ms Ngo said the police warned that they may also be convicted if they filed a case against the offender, as they had also used force when they caught him.
As such, they could only delete the voyeuristic videos he had taken.
They initially weren’t able to find the upskirt videos on his phone. However, after switching to another system, they then found 500gb worth of footage, leading them to believe he has had many victims.
“Finally, we found that there were records of gambling and gambling on his phone, and the police suggested that we use this to file a crime so that none of us would be implicated,” Ms Ngo shared.

While the man was taken to the police station, Ms Ngo expressed frustration regarding being unable to file a case against him for his perverse actions.
“I just don’t want this kind of person to go back to college and tell others that he was arrested because of the gambling network, and then continue to get away with it,” she said.
Ms Ngo also said they believe the pervert has other accomplices, so she warned other women in Cyberjaya to be vigilant.
Student reminds women to wear safety shorts
In another video, Ms Ngo claimed the offender is a university student in Cyberjaya, while the woman he was caught filming was her friend’s girlfriend.
She added that the woman’s boyfriend was right beside her during the incident, but the offender was brazen enough to take upskirt videos of her.
As such, she reminded women to be wary of perverts, even if they are with their partners.
She encouraged women to wear safety shorts, adding that the offender’s phone carried over 1,000 upskirt videos, with some women filmed without them.
She advised that if women suspect someone is secretly filming them, they can discreetly ask a male friend to walk behind the suspect to confirm it.
If it turns out they are indeed being recorded, she urged them to take immediate action and apprehend the offender on the spot.
