Mazda Ran Into Parked Motorbikes In Carpark
Singaporeans may have seen their fair share of road accidents in recent times.
But if you think these accidents are exclusive to the roads, that’s where you are wrong.
On Thursday (21 Mar), a white Mazda car reportedly slammed into 2 parked motorbikes in a Tampines HDB multi-storey car park (MSCP).
Several videos showing the aftermath of the accident were uploaded on social media. One shared on SG Road Vigilante garnered over 700 shares at the time of this article.

Tree was the unexpected hero
According to the video’s description, the accident took place on the ground floor of a HDB MSCP along Tampines Street 32.
The white Mazda 3 slammed into 2 stationary motorbikes parked in the MSCP.
Upon collision with the car, the 2 bikes flew and landed on the pathway outside the MSCP.
The short, destructive run came to an end when the car collided into a lanky tree planted directly outside the car park — talk about an unexpected hero.
The tree appears to have sustained injuries of its own and looked slanted in the video.
The Mazda suffered several dents on its front bumper. Half of its car plate was also chipped.
The video was presumably taken shortly after the collision, as the front wheel can be seen rotating even without anyone in the car.
Traffic police later arrived at the scene to investigate the incident.
Driver’s leg ‘jammed’
A middle-aged man in a maroon shirt – the Mazda driver – was seen snapping photos of his car in the video.
The driver appeared unharmed and spoke coherently throughout the video.
When probed, the man claimed that his leg ‘jammed’ when he was pressing on the accelerator.

Commiserations to the bike owners for their damaged bikes.
Thankfully, nobody was hurt during this accident which could have easily turned fatal.
