71-Year-Old Missing Man With Dementia Last Seen At Paya Lebar Residences On 18 Nov

We’re often the ones who worry endlessly when our family members, especially those with a condition, have disappeared from their homes.

That’s most likely what Mr Park Jong Hun’s family is going through right now. The 71-year-old, who has dementia, was reported missing on Tuesday (19 Nov).

Dementia-Friendly Singapore, a community that aims to support those with dementia and their caregivers, is urging Singaporeans to keep a lookout for the missing senior.

According to Dementia-Friendly Singapore’s post, Mr Park was reported missing at Paya Lebar Residences since 9am on 18 Nov (Monday).

This means he has gone missing for over 24 hours at the time of writing.

The 71-year-old, who relies on a walking stick for mobility, is said to be 170cm tall with short hair.

He was also last seen in a light blue T-shirt with brown shorts, wearing “navy covered shoes” — most likely referring to the colour navy blue.

Given his dementia, it is understandably worrisome that he could be helplessly wandering the streets alone.

Hopefully, Mr Park’s loved ones will be able to find him ASAP, thanks to the power of the Internet.
