NDP 2019 Funpacks Are More Eco-Friendly With Bamboo Straws & Come In 2 Patriotic Colours

2019 NDP Funpack In Red & White Colours

Singaporeans have much to love about our National Day Parade (NDP) — festive atmosphere, nostalgic songs, and of course, the NDP Funpack.

This year, our NDP Funpacks come in 2 colours: red and white, each with a treasure trove of freebies including bamboo straws.

NDP Funpack has bamboo straws suited for bubble tea

Singapore is moving towards being a more eco-friendly society — think reusable metal, bamboo and even rice straws.

The Funpack will contain a set of bamboo straws complete with a straw cleaner and pouch, and even has a bigger straw for bubble tea.

In addition, they will also double up as clappers for you to show your enthusiasm during the parade.

Other items to look out for include a 750ml water bottle, discount vouchers, and the usual freebies like snacks and a miniature Singapore flag.

Compared to past Funpacks where 2 bottles were given out, this year, each bag will have one bigger bottle, reducing plastic wastage.

Versatile design

Besides the freebies, the Funpacks are also thoughtfully designed with versatility and re-usability in mind.

The bags are water-resistant and even have a reflective strap for cyclists to keep safe at night.

You can carry it in 3 different ways – as a backpack, tote bag or sling bag – by adjusting the straps.

They are also designed as an “Emergency Ready bag”, with a list of suggested essential items pasted on the inside.

Those keen to learn about vital life-saving measures like CPR and AED will also find QR codes directing you to the websites of SCDF and the Singapore Red Cross Society for free courses.

Keep your fingers crossed on 24 Jun

With all the exciting things you can expect from the Funpack, keep your fingers crossed for next Monday (24 Jun).

For those who have balloted for NDP tickets, that’s when the results will be released.

We wish you all the best in getting the tickets!
