Expecting a massive turnout, folks from the stall have made preparations for the special day.

Here’s a closer look.

Watering point and express queue for the elderly

To help manage and serve the crowd, OK Chicken Rice has mobilised volunteers who will be stationed at various checkpoints.

These volunteers comprise of personal friends, social workers, and other “men and women of valour”.

Signages have also been put up on the path leading to the stall to help guide customers.

There will also be a watering point near the stall to help keep customers refreshed while waiting for their turn.

The queue on the day will be split and the elderly will be given priority such that they do not have to wait for such a long time.

Tables at the food court have also been decorated with Singapore flags to add to the ‘National Day vibes’.

1,000 plates of free chicken rice with egg & satay

In case you have not heard of the promotion, the stall will be giving out 1,000 plates of free chicken rice complete with a braised egg and satay on the day of the promotion.

There will also be “limited portions” of other side dishes for this group of elderly:

• Vegetable
• Otah
• Herbal soup
• Chicken liver
• Chicken gizzard

This is only made possible by numerous kind donors who contributed $2,660 to the stall.
