Old Chang Kee Has Mala-Flavoured Snacks For Chinese New Year Till Mar 2020
2020 is just a few days away. Those with fiery palates already have something to look forward to at Singapore’s very own hot snacks brand Old Chang Kee.
The brand, known for their signature bright yellow storefronts, will be launching a rich, spicy variety of snacks under their Mala Feast event from 2 Jan-Mar 2020.
Here’s more on what you can sink your teeth into during the upcoming festive season.
Old Chang Kee mala chicken puffs at $2
First to be rolled out under the Old Chang Kee Mala Feast is the Mala Chicken’O — your classic piping hot puffs baked with a surprising spicy twist.
They come with spicy mala fillings, bamboo shoots, peanuts, onions, and mala spices, all neatly tucked within their buttery pastry.
You can get them for $2 per piece from 2 Jan-Mar 2020. If you buy 2 of them, you’ll get 2 pieces of Crispy Prawns for free.
Mala chicken in crispy batter at $4.90
Starting Feb-Mar 2020, you can also get Mala Chicken from Old Chang Kee.
We’re talking about a massive piece of chicken in golden crispy batter, sprinkled with the brand’s very own version of spicy mala powder on top.
For this, Old Chang Kee promises a fried piece of delicacy that’s “so juicy and yummy” with every bite.
Spicy oyster mushrooms at $3.90
In the final month of Mala Feast, you can anticipate the release of their King Oyster Mushroom and Oyster Mushroom snacks, cooked with golden tempura batter and sprinkled with mala powder.
You can get this glorious cup of tangy goodness at $3.90 each. It will only be available for a month in Mar 2020.
Feast on Old Chang Kee mala snacks at all outlets
Their highly anticipated Mala Feast will be available at all Old Chang Kee outlets from 2 Jan-Mar 2020.
