Simonboy & fiancée Simongirl set to have wedding in July 2024

Local influencer and actor Simon Khung, better known as Simonboy, has taken to social media to announce his wedding date. Or the month, at least.

“I must have loved you since hundreds of years ago,” reads the sweet caption on his video.

Simonboy announced his engagement to Chloe Eong, also known as Simongirl, on 17 March.

Simonboy shares pre-wedding video shoot

On Tuesday (26 March), the 36-year-old influencer shared a video of him and Simongirl in their wedding finery.

The clip begins with Simonboy eagerly checking the time as he waits for Simongirl to show up.

In a romcom-worthy scene, Simongirl then appears running towards her fiancé, stylishly casting her veil to the wind.

After Simonboy greets her with open arms, they link arms as they walk down an all-white corridor, the colours matching their attire.

The happy couple then heads to Singapore’s National Gallery, this time with Simongirl sporting a baby blue gown and Simonboy leading her down the stairs in a beige suit.

Their final outfit change features traditional Chinese wedding attire with intricate embroidered details.

Simonboy ended the video with a photograph of the couple sharing an intimate moment in a park, captioned with a Bible verse:

Simonboy proposed during seniors’ walk

The wedding date announcement comes shortly after Simonboy popped the question during a seniors’ walk in Pasir Ris.

In contrast to their elegant wedding attire, the couple was dressed in T-shirts and track pants when Simonboy got down on one knee.

A few familiar faces were among the cheering crowd, including ‘Money No Enough’ director Jack Neo.
