Beautiful Sunrise Appears In Singapore After Double Rainbows The Day Before
On the last day of ‘Circuit Breaker’, Singaporeans were treated to a majestic double rainbow on Monday (1 Jun) evening.

But little did we know that another celestial spectacle would await us as we enter the first phase of Singapore’s reopening the next day.
On Tuesday (2 Jun) morning, Singaporeans across the island reported seeing a beautiful sunrise on their way to work and school — almost as if Mother Nature was welcoming us back to normal life.

Redditor u/berryborealis shared a picture taken from Bukit Batok, showing clouds lit in a soft orange glow against pastel blue skies.
The contrast is hopefully a poetic indication of what’s to come, in that better times await us now that dreary ones are over.
Fellow Reddit user u/Centurion_Tiger shared another shot of the gorgeous sunrise from Tuas MRT station above the industrial buildings around the area, welcoming workers returning to work.
Another Facebook user also captured the spectacle in the heartlands of Bishan against HDB flats.
This taxi driver captured this stunning shot during the end of his night shift with wild grass in the foreground.
Spectacle also seen in central Singapore
Similar scenes were seen near the Central Business District (CBD) and serves as the perfect backdrop for towering skyscrapers in the area.
Here’s a view of the stunning sunrise at the iconic Gardens by the Bay, with the sparkling waterways of Marina Bay offering a mirror image view of the orange clouds.

Celestial displays like these never fail to take our breaths away, and we hope the sunrise this morning made the day of many Singaporeans as they return to work or school.
While ‘Circuit Breaker’ might be over, we hope Singaporeans will continue to abide by safe distancing measures and to avoid heading out unless unnecessary.
Hopefully, the sunrise will be an indication of what’s to come — the birth of a bright new day after the dark ones are over.
