Ginormous Yakult Bubble Tea Bottles Are By Taiwan’s Red Sun Tea BBT Chain
Many long-time Yakult fans have griped about how an individual serving is way too small. If you can relate, this meme will definitely hit you right in the gut — bacteria.
That’s where these oversized Yakult Bubble Tea bottles come in.
A creative bubble tea chain in Taiwan, Red Sun Tea, has eliminated the “Upsize Yakult!” pipe dream once and for all, with these massive mason jars bearing 5 different flavours of BBT.
Here’s how to make the ultimate yoghurt drink pilgrimage, especially if a trip to Taiwan with the gang is on the cards soon.
Yakult Bubble Tea bottles are 4 times bigger
Red Sun Tea, a BBT chain store based in Tainan, Taiwan, is the brains behind the ingenious packaging.
You can order at least 5 drinks in the iconic bottles, with prices starting at S$3.07 (NT$69) for regular Milk Tea with free pearl toppings.
BBT staples like Oolong Milk Tea, Matcha, Chocolate and Yakult Milk Tea are available upon request too.
Served with a quarter jar of chewy boba
Each bottled beverage comes with a generous serving of chewy tapioca pearls, filling up to a quarter of the jar.
Here’s how the bottle stacks up alongside the original Yakult bottle, for a quick size comparison. Best part is, you’ll get to keep the adorable plastic jar after you finish the drink.
We’d advise filling it with your own beverages and carrying it around as your go-to ‘dabao‘ bottle wherever you roam.

There seemed to be a Red Sun Tea branch in Toa Payoh, Singapore back in 2013, with an inactive Facebook page. However, we can’t verify if they’re still in operation.
