Horde Of Teens In Singapore Zombie Apocalypse At Wisma Atria Yeezy Drop
Not all of us will understand the hype around branded merch like the Adidas Yeezy sneakers, but those who do won’t hesitate to go all out.
A group of youths were ready to barge through the entrance of Wisma Atria at 6am today (22 Jun) for the exclusive drop of Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2.
Though from the video on All Singapore Stuff’s Facebook page, they appeared more like an intimidating horde than a group.
Exclusive colour released in 7 stores
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 in the colour “Synth” is only available to Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
The extra exclusivity explains the craze, though the design is said to be released at more stores this time than before. The 7 stores are:
- AW Lab at Wisma Atria
- JD Sports at ION Orchard
- Limited Edt at Marina Bay Sands
- Pedder on Scotts
- Footlocker at Jewel Changi
- adidas Originals at Pacific Plaza
- adidas Originals at VivoCity
The sneakers are also available online, though a check on the adidas Singapore website shows that all sizes are sold out.
A pair of adult sneakers retail at about S$349.
Shoes fall off in the mad rush
In a fight, no man should be left behind, but shoes are a different matter when you desperately need to cop a limited edition pair.
Some of the youths who wanted to be the first at the store ran so fast that their shoes fell off their feet.
Perhaps they didn’t need the shoes they were wearing once they got their hands on the Yeezys.
We hope that they did manage to snag a pair, or they’d have to walk home with a missing shoe.
